Bandar Seri Begawan is the one of Brunei city. It located in the southeastern Asia,bordering the South China Sea and Malaysia. Seri Begawan was named after the Sultan’s late father sir Omar Ali Saifuddien on October 5th 1970,it’s originally name being Bandar Brunei. This cities area is about 100.36 square kilometres.it’s coordination is 4.890338,114.942457.On August 1st,2007 The sultan Brunei gave consest of the city from 12.87 square kilometers to 100.36 square kilometers
The climate of Bandar Seri Begawan ranges from equatorial to sub-tropical (14-32 degrees Celsius). The hot and humid dry season from April to mid September. There is cool, humid and changeable weather from September to March (13-26 degrees Celsius). Hail occurs from December to February when the weather is pleasantly cool and dry. Rain fall is mostly high especially in October. Dry season is known as 'Summer Monsoon' and Wet season is also known as 'Spring Monsoon'. The temperature in the Dry season is 24-32 degrees, the temperature can easily soar to 34,35 or above in August and July. The temperature in Wet season 14-26 and the weather is cool and cloudy. The coolest months is December to April. The temperature in Bandar Seri Begawan that ever recorded in January was 12 to 33 degrees Celsius and in August was 38 degrees Celsius
The majority of Bruneians are ethnic Malays with Chinese being the most significant minority group. Aboriginal groups such as the Iban also exist and are loosely classified as Malays. Large numbers of transitory workers are to be found within Brunei, the majority being from Indonesia, The Philippines and the Indian Subcontinent. The population of city in 2002 is 27,285 people. the density is 272 square kilometers.
Brunei is famous for his king that is the richest king in the, which they have earned money from sell oil and natural gas. Otherwise Bandar Seri Begawan is famous with Royal Ceremonial Hall, Royal Regalia Building, The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the Malay Technology Museum, and the Brunei History Center. The architecture of the mosque has a heavy influence of both Islamic and Italian styles. Designed by an Italian architect, the mosque is constructed on an artificial lagoon near the banks of the Brunei River circulated by a water village (named Kampong Ayer). The Sultan Omar Ali Saiffuddin mosque consists of marble minarets and golden domes with courtyards and fertile gardens filled with fountains. The mosque is circulated by a plethora of trees and floral gardens which in Islam it is considered as an interpertation of heaven. It also has a long bridge meandering across the lagoon to Kamong Ayer (the water village). Also, there is another marble bridge connecting to a structure in the water that resembles a ship was at one time used for official state ceremonies.The Things to see in Brunei is Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Gadong centre for Islamic learning and place of worship. ,Kampung Ayer "Villages on Water" Brunei's famous water village.
